Green Dragon Bonsai began in 2001 in response to the needs of my local club members and the unavailability of Bonsai supplies in our area. The business has now grown to the point where we ship trees, tools, pots and various Bonsai accessories worldwide.

Our website offers online shopping cart purchasing and we also run regular auctions on ebay. Visitors to our base in Prestatyn are always welcome by prior arrangement but are expected not to expect too much as our grounds are somewhat cramped and always under development. The kettle is in full working order and I can always find time to talk about trees.

We remain a small business committed to offering our items at the lowest prices possible. I am first and foremost a Bonsai enthusiast. When I was learning the basics and exploring my own reasons for growing Bonsai I was often frustrated that the tools or pots that I wanted were out of my reach either geographically or financially and my aim in running this business is to offer a solution to both these problems. Any profits from the business merely serve to fund my addiction to Bonsai and my own development as a Bonsai artist. All I need now is a European Union directive to increase days to 48 hours.

I have been growing and styling Bonsai since the early 90's when tired of growing tomatoes I drifted into experimenting with rees and seeing what happened. During my formative years in the hobby I frequently found myself with questions that required a straight answer.
As such I will gladly offer advice to anyone who needs it. I don't claim to be a font of all knowledge but will do my best to answer any queries in a down to earth fashion that relies heavily on thinking logically.
Advice is totally FREE and gladly given.
